I am a nervous system–informed career and life coach for high-achieving women who want sustainable success — without sacrificing their health, relationships, or sense of self.

I began this work inside the legal profession. Today, I still specialize in attorneys — but my work has evolved beyond any one industry.

Because burnout isn’t a lawyer problem.
It’s a high-achiever problem.

And success without regulation isn’t success at all.

My Foundation

I’m both an attorney and a certified coach. I understand the legal profession from the inside out — the pressure, the pace, the expectations, and the unspoken costs of high performance.

For years, I coached lawyers who were:

  • Outwardly successful
  • Inwardly exhausted
  • Quietly questioning what comes next

What I discovered is this:

Time management isn’t usually the real problem.
Motivation isn’t usually the real problem.
Even career direction isn’t usually the real problem.

The nervous system is.

When you’re chronically dysregulated, no strategy sticks.
When you’re constantly in fight-or-flight, every decision feels urgent.
When your identity is fused to achievement, rest feels dangerous.

So I built a coaching model that addresses the whole human being.

How My Work Is Different

Most career coaching — especially for attorneys — focuses on tactics:

  • Résumés
  • Job searches
  • Productivity systems
  • Advancement strategies

Those tools matter.

But they don’t solve chronic stress.
They don’t address burnout patterns.
And they don’t untangle identity from performance.

My approach integrates:

  • Practical career strategy
  • Burnout prevention and workload redesign
  • Nervous system regulation
  • Mindfulness and somatic awareness
  • Boundary design
  • Values clarification
  • Leadership and communication refinement

Depending on the client, this may include meditation, nervous system regulation practices, strength and recovery work, or energy management strategies — alongside concrete planning about career trajectory and professional goals.

The goal is not to push harder.

The goal is to build a career and life that are aligned, regulated, and sustainable.ustainable success—both in and out of the office.

Who I Work With

I primarily work with high-performing women — many of whom are attorneys — who:

  • Feel successful on paper but depleted in reality
  • Want clarity without burning everything down
  • Struggle with chronic stress and over-functioning
  • Are rethinking leadership, advancement, or identity
  • Want to feel powerful without feeling fried

If that woman happens to practice law, I bring deep industry insight.
If she doesn’t, the nervous system principles still apply.

Speaking & Law Firm Work

In addition to private coaching, I speak nationally to law firms, bar associations, and leadership groups on topics including:

  • Burnout prevention in high-pressure professions
  • Nervous system regulation for high performers
  • Sustainable time and energy management
  • Emotional intelligence for attorneys
  • Leadership presence and communication

My background as a practicing attorney, adjunct professor, and coach allows me to bridge evidence-based stress science with the lived reality of professional life.

Me, in real life…

I’m 50% lawyer, 50% hippie.

Green thumb enthusiast. Cheese aficionado. Beer snob. Clueless sommelier. Recovering attorney. Dreamy writer. Terrible singer. Weird sense of humor. Tea-aholic. Mediocre dancer. Lover of all things furry. Pirate mouth. More tattoos than my mom prefers.

Structured brain. Soft heart. Deeply allergic to hustle culture.

Why I Do This Work

Because I’ve lived it.

I’ve navigated toxic professional environments. I’ve untangled identity from achievement. I’ve rebuilt from burnout. I’ve learned — the hard way — that ambition without regulation is a fast track to depletion.

My book, The Lawyer Life Survival Guide (2024), chronicles that journey — exploring the realities of practicing law, the hidden emotional costs of professional success, and the parallels between our personal and professional patterns.

At its core, my work is about this:

You don’t need to abandon ambition.

You need to build a nervous system that can hold it.

Sometimes I write things

The Lawyer Life Survival Guide,” (2024) a book for every professional who struggles to find their true north. This book explores the shocking realities of practicing law and the lack of preparation often provided in law schools. Providing practical tips through a poignant exploration of the realities of women in the legal industry coupled with the author’s personal experiences with abuse and career dumpster fires, this book is a must read for any professional woman.

As an attorney, this book chronicles my journey through abuse and toxic relationships (personal and professional), drawing parallels between how we show up in our personal lives as well as our professional lives and the impact it has on our success in all aspects of life. This book explores the challenging world of practicing law, while providing practical and actionable tips I’ve gleaned from years of coaching hundreds of lawyers all over the world. This book will help attorneys better understand the challenges of practicing law while reconnecting with their value and gaining clarity around their future.

Praise for my latest work…

“I’m not a lawyer, but this book resonated with me so
deeply and said things I’ve probably needed to hear for most of my adult life.”

Author,Powerhouse Women: She Built It Herself,” (2022) a book that delineates the stories of such CEO female entrepreneurs-the ones who stood alone but strong in chasing their visions for a life of more stability, fulfillment, and influence; a life of success and abundance, rather than scarcity and stress. Their stories demonstrate a very empowering fact: that women, when they choose to maximize on their potential and burn bright instead of fading into the shadows, are illustrious, formidable, and a pillar of strength.
